ABOUT THE MISSION
SI is currently expanding its presence in East Africa and is looking for Field Coordinators to developp activities in new areas.
The team will be composed of an Head of Programs and Head of support Services, FCs will be deployed in the intervention areas, field teals are under design. The mission is in the opening phase and the organization chart is evolving.
ABOUT THE JOB
GENERAL OBJECTIVES :
The Field Coordinator is the representative of the organization at field level. He/she proposes a strategy for his/her area, according to the geopolitical and humanitarian context, and ensures its implementation once validated. He/she checks and ensures that projects are carried out in accordance with the Solidarités International charter, respecting all internal and contractual procedures. He/she mobilizes the material and financial resources necessary for programs to run smoothly and supervises resource management. He/she coordinates the teams in place and is responsible for their security in his/her assigned zone.

PRIORITIES ON THE 2-3 FIRST MONTHS :
- Ensure the Kick off / launching of new projects (ECHO and CDCS) at field Level
- Coordinate, participate to the recruitment, Induction and trainning / building up of the Base team
- Ensure the representation, Coordination with partner and local autorities at field level
- Participate to new assessment, development of new proposal
