About the opportunity
In this science manager role, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality medical device products are developed and maintained in accordance with the applicable quality system requirements.
Duties
- Define methods and approaches to develop medical device instruments
- Establish and improve science processes & procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage recruitment and allocation of science staff
- Manage other leadership activities within the team
- Contribute to budget setting, tracking, and forecasting
- Provide expertise to the business in science related issues
Experience
- Degree in scientific discipline is required
- Experience in immunohistochemistry is desirable
- Strong leadership and project management experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong knowledge of GLP/GMP guidelines
- Effective problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
