1st Year Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician Apprentice (JO000077117) Orange, Australia

As a 1st Year Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you will be working alongside and learning from highly experienced tradesmen. This position would suit a candidate that has a keen interest in trucks or large machinery, as you will be working on these daily.


Your duties will include and not be limited to;

  • Repairing engines and associated engine components
  • Service and repair fleet of side loader trucks, front lift trucks, hook trucks and trailers
  • Test and repair basic electrical circuits
  • Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
  • Use of computer diagnostic equipment
  • Ensure workplace is kept clean and tidy
  • Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • To be considered for this opportunity ideally you will have:
  • Drivers Licence (manual) and own transport
  • Completed Year 12 High School Education
  • Ability to demonstrate working in a team environment
  • Superior Safety Awareness
  • Work experience or completed relevant studies in automotive or engineering
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and demonstrate an interest in this field
  • Long term career goals to grow with the company
