1st Year Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician Apprentice (JO000077117) Orange, Australia
As a 1st Year Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you will be working alongside and learning from highly experienced tradesmen. This position would suit a candidate that has a keen interest in trucks or large machinery, as you will be working on these daily.
Your duties will include and not be limited to;
- Repairing engines and associated engine components
- Service and repair fleet of side loader trucks, front lift trucks, hook trucks and trailers
- Test and repair basic electrical circuits
- Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
- Use of computer diagnostic equipment
- Ensure workplace is kept clean and tidy
- Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- To be considered for this opportunity ideally you will have:
- Drivers Licence (manual) and own transport
- Completed Year 12 High School Education
- Ability to demonstrate working in a team environment
- Superior Safety Awareness
- Work experience or completed relevant studies in automotive or engineering
- Basic understanding of mechanics and demonstrate an interest in this field
- Long term career goals to grow with the company
