Calling all potential electronics and communication apprentices!

MEGT in partnership with global tech leader Honeywell, is offering an exciting opportunity for 1st Year Electronics and Communications Apprentice. Located in Maryborough, this apprenticeship is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in electronics, computers, and IT.

As an Electronics and Communication Apprentice, you will be working on large scale infrastructure projects such as airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, universities, hotels, data centres and government departments, you’ll learn:

  • Installation and programming
  • Commissioning of electronic security and BMS control equipment
  • Access controls
  • CCTV systems
  • HVAC and BMS controls application
  • Application of basic electronic and communication theories and principles
  • Collaboration with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot electronic and communication systems

What are we looking for?

  • Passionate about electronics, IT, and communications
  • Completion of year 12 or equivalent work experience
  • High level communications skills
  • Great attitude and demonstrated reliability

The successful candidate must successfully pass the following pre-employment checks prior to their formal offer - Police check, full medical including drug & alcohol screening and a hearing test. For some locations an NVI Security clearance will be required.
