What’s the role?
- Supply of medications in accordance with Pharmacy Board of Australia regulations, including scheduled and non-scheduled items
- Recording and dispensing of medicines to meet all requirements of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Consistently provide a high standard of customer service including the positive handling of customer complaints
- Counselling customers on the use of their prescriptions and OTC medicines where necessary
- Suitable candidates may be involved in visits to local health centres for a variety of professional support tasks.
Is this the right role for you?
- Unconditional AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
- Prior experience working within teams and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work unsupervised in either a retail pharmacy or busy Dose Administration Aid section
- Willingness to work both inside and outside a normal retail pharmacy environment
- Good communication skills both with internal staff and other health professionals
- Strong organisational skills and a passion to deliver exceptional health outcomes for our clients.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
