What’s the role?

The role involves regular outreach trips to remote communities and close collaboration with individual’s families and key stakeholders to deliver client centered care to both adults and children experiencing a range of disabilities.

  • Flexible and diverse caseloads, including NDIS, private and aged care clients
  • Regular outreach trips to remote communities
  • Independent management of OT case loads
  • Prescription of equipment and home modifications
  • Engagement with key stakeholders, including support workers, families and schools to support OT intervention
  • Comprehensive NDIS assessment and reporting

Is this the right role for you?

  • At least two year's relevant experience
  • Undergraduate or post graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current National Police Clearance & Working with Children's check
  • Current Australian Driver's License

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
