Everybodies Journey Physiotherapy and Exercise (EBJ) are looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team. EBJ individualise treatment plans for each patient to ensure best care is provided and the best results are achieved for patients.

EBJ is a physiotherapy private practice who services the township of Nhulunbuy, while also contracting to Miwatj Health and Australian Regional and Remote Community Services who run the new Aged Care Centre in Nhulunbuy. Additionally, EBJ has an onsite Gym used for exercise classes, private rehabilitation of clients and a public gum.

What’s the role?
The role involves regular outreach trips to remote communities across East Arnhem as well as time in our private practice in Nhulunbuy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity work at the brands new ARRCS Aged Care Centre in Nhulunbuy. You will be working along side two senior physiotherapists who have extensive knowledge and experience.

  • Reliably assess, diagnose and safely deliver physiotherapy services across a wide range of clinical areas and health conditions
  • Design, prescribe and supervise rehabilitation
  • Assess efficiency of treatment plans, modify and refer accordingly
  • Practice duty of care, including meeting clinic standards and accountability
  • Provide safe, effective, outcome driven clinical care through knowledge of scope of practice, referral pathways and communication with other stakeholders and treatment provider

Is this the right role for you?

  • Bachelor or Masters of Physiotherapy
  • AHPRA registration and appropriate professional indemnity insurance
  • Current first aid certificate and C Class driver’s license
  • Strong organisation skills and effective time management and planning strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively meet KPI’s
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and written communication skills

What’s it like living in Nhulunbuy?

The township of Nhulunbuy is in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. It is traditional Aboriginal Land owned by the Yolngu people and leased by Rio Tinto. The township itself comprises approximately 4000 people whom primarily work for the mine, the local hospital, schools, government agencies, or local Yolngu businesses.
