What’s the role?
- Perform fitness and stress tests on patients to determine their strengths, limitations and the most appropriate starting point for a new program
- Analyzing a patient’s medical history to assess any potential risks that exercise may pose
- Creating a safe and relaxed environment where clients feel comfortable
- Referring patients to other medical professionals if necessary
- Committed to ongoing professional development, educating the wider community and providing exceptional service
Is this the right role for you?
- Bachelor's degree or Masters in Exercise Physiology
- 2 years experience as an accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA)
- Membership at relevant professional bod
- At least 1-year experience in private practice
- Experience in managing a wide variety of clients
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
