What’s the role?

  • Perform fitness and stress tests on patients to determine their strengths, limitations and the most appropriate starting point for a new program
  • Analyzing a patient’s medical history to assess any potential risks that exercise may pose
  • Creating a safe and relaxed environment where clients feel comfortable
  • Referring patients to other medical professionals if necessary
  • Committed to ongoing professional development, educating the wider community and providing exceptional service

Is this the right role for you?

  • Bachelor's degree or Masters in Exercise Physiology
  • 2 years experience as an accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA)
  • Membership at relevant professional bod
  • At least 1-year experience in private practice
  • Experience in managing a wide variety of clients

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
