Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday,
Must be able to work rotating shift patterns below:
- Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm
- Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
- Sunday – Thursday 10pm – 6am

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our client's busy manufacturing site based in Bognor Regis.
Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business. They are a market leader within their industry, producing high-quality products for a wide range of customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to support the Production Manager in driving operational performance within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure production is working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and jobs are completed in the correct sequence.
- Provide strong leadership by setting an example and allocating resources effectively.
- Support the Production Manager in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor daily production output, with an expected shift performance of approximately 4,600 units per day.
- Carry out production system and report checks.
- Complete daily safety inspections and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure all employees wear the correct PPE and comply with Health & Safety procedures.
- Support and monitor staff training, identifying additional training requirements where necessary.
- Report machine breakdowns and quality issues using the appropriate reporting procedures.
- Capture and report production figures, including units/metres produced and work-in-progress performance.
- Ensure effective and accurate shift handovers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area.
- Assist with planned maintenance programmes.
- Maintain weekly rotas on a week-plus-one basis.
- Administer absence and sickness records, reporting to the Production Manager and HR where required.
- Deliver inductions and assist with employee training schedules.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the continued development of the site.
