We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a short-term locum opportunity within a unique hospital-substitution service based in Northern Adelaide.

This service operates within a residential aged care setting, supporting adults aged 65+ who require restorative care prior to returning home. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working autonomously while still being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and occupational therapy interventions
• Support rehabilitation and restorative care goals
• Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for safe return home
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Manage your own caseload autonomously within the service

About You

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification and AHPRA registration
• Previous experience within hospital, aged care, rehabilitation, or restorative care settings
• Strong understanding of discharge planning and functional assessment
• Ability to work independently and confidently manage a sole OT role
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
