We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a supportive allied health team delivering essential community health services in North West regional Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while being backed by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Permanent candidates are preferred, however we are also happy to discuss full-time 6-month contracts for the right clinician.
The Role
This is a diverse clinic/community-based position supporting both adult and paediatric clients, with a strong focus on improving health outcomes within Indigenous communities.
Your caseload will include:
- Chronic disease management
- Musculoskeletal conditions
- Arthritis and ageing-related conditions
- Adult rehabilitation and functional assessments
- Paediatric occupational therapy
- Community clinics and regular outreach to remote communities
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Confidence managing both adult and paediatric caseloads
- The ability to work autonomously as the sole clinician within clinic and community
- Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality care to regional and Indigenous communities
- Current AHPRA registration and an unrestricted driver's licence
