Ready for your next adventure while making a genuine impact in mental health? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a public health service in stunning Western Australia.

Working within an acute inpatient mental health unit, you'll play a key role supporting consumers through some of the most challenging stages of their recovery, while enjoying everything regional & coastal WA has to offer outside of work.

The Role

You'll be managing an acute inpatient mental health caseload alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, working with adults experiencing a range of complex presentations including:

• Schizophrenia
• Depression
• Drug-induced psychosis
• Patients in the acute phase of mental illness

As the sole Occupational Therapist within the service, you'll need to be confident working independently, managing your own caseload, and providing high-quality, patient-centred care while collaborating closely with the wider MDT.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in acute or inpatient mental health
• Level 1 or Level 2 clinician experience
• Confidence working autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
