Our client is a renowned automotive/heavy machinery manufacturer with a global footprint. They are leading the market in delivering high-quality parts and machinery to meet the demands of various industries worldwide. In light of their growing production line, they are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team and ensure continuous operation of their machinery.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery
• Repair and maintenance of high-speed manufacturing, assembly, and packaging machinery
• Troubleshoot and fix faults on all industrial plant equipment and site services
• Mechanical repairs including conveyors, drives, shafts, pumps, and compressors
• Conduct scheduled electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Complete project work such as machinery upgrades, new installations, and process improvements
• Skilful handling of fillers, labellers, palletisers, sealers, pneumatics, PLC's, hydraulics, motors, and gearboxes

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Min. NVQ Level 3 Engineering qualification and must have completed a time-served apprenticeship
• Hands-on experience working in an automotive or heavy machinery manufacturing environment

Shifts & Benefits Package:

• Work schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Friday) with on-call duties
• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Overtime payment opportunities available
