My client is looking to recruit an experienced shift manager from a warehouse & Distribution background. You will play a vital role in managing the Stock team & Stock Systems for the site.They are looking for an excellent people-management & fantastic communication skills. Do you have a background of leading teams in a fast-paced environment?

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage to day-to-day logistics operation for all aspects of good inwards,
• Looking after a team of supervisor’s &lines pickers
• Implement continuous process improvements and store management development
• Be responsible for warehouse systems
• Coach, lead & develop all members of the logistics & warehouse team
• Drive the team forward to new goals,
• Implement change & structural develop KPi’s

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Ideally have come from a transferrable inbound warehouse/logistics operation within manufacturing
• Must have time-served experience in a similar role
• Experienced in logistical/material supply methodologies – including lean principles
• ERP & MRP systems
• Knowledge of stock level targets, reporting, warehouse organisation & KPi monitoring
• Able to implement change and reorganisation planning of stores systems
• Willing and able to travel overseas to other sites within the group if needed
• Strong communicator across all functions of the business

Benefits Package:

• Salary:-                           £37,000 - £38,000
• Benefits:-                       Private Pension, Life Assurance, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Working Hours:-          4on , 4off – 12-hour days
