Dorset based manufacturing company, known for their high-quality products, is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical background to join their team. The company supplies to major UK supermarkets and is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria to apply.

Responsibilities include:

• Reactive and planned maintenance in a manufacturing setting
• Working on high-speed food processing, production, and packaging machinery
• Fault finding and repair on industrial equipment and site services.
• Mechanical repairs on conveyors, drives, shafts, pumps, and compressors
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement with lean manufacturing principles
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and planned maintenance.
• Project work on machinery upgrades, new installations, and continuous improvements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Electrical bias with experience in maintenance engineering
• Ideally completed a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• Practical experience in food, FMCG, or packaging environments
• Proficiency in PLC electrical fault-finding
• Comfortable with large mechanical work, fault finding, and repair.
• Ability to conduct both electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Experience with industrial mechanical systems and components.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and gearboxes

Shifts and Benefits Package:

• Double Days
• Salary range: £40,000 to £45,000 plus overtime opportunities.
