Project Control Management

Project Control Management (JO017205) Buenos Aires Autonomous City, Argentina

Salary: USD100 - USD101 per day

One of our top Clients in the O&G Industry is looking for a Project Control Management with the following details:

  • Location: Argentina / Buenos Aires city
  • Start date: ASAP / URGENT
  • Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)
  • Job schedule: Onshore, Single Resident status
  • Working Schedule: 5 Days per week – 8 Hours per day

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Education/training: Graduate, with appropriate management skills.
  • Experience: 20 years in company support services / business administration, with recognized knowledge of contract, cost and planning administration/ control/

Activities:

  • To assist in the definition, establishment and organisation of the Project
  • To establish a set of Project specific procedures to cover the co-ordination and control of the Project control activities based on Company Rules, CLIENT CMS, PJC Guidelines, Procedures and best work practises.
  • To control the IT needs and services of the Project and ensure adequacy of resources for the Project activities.
  • To provide the necessary human resources functions for and co-ordinate the activities in the Project Control Department by informing, supporting and directing personnel in their Project roles, responsibilities and objectives.
  • Deputize for the Project manager as and when necessary.
  • Contract Activities: To implement the contract strategy defined for the project in compliance with CLIENT obligations and procedures (call for tender, commercial bid analysis, contract preparation, contract management and administration until close-out).
  • Scheduling: To establish and manage the Project Master Schedule (PMS) and individual contract Work Time Schedules and consolidate the overall progress through identification/follow-up of the critical path and analysis of main deviations incurred during the execution of the project; to review identified deviations and propose accurate measures or adapted corrections.
  • Cost Control: To control the preparation and review of the initial Project Budget and to supervise constantly, in close coordination with the Finance Dept., cost control activities, follow-up of budgetary stages and internal/external Project Annual Costs (initial, revised, closure); to implement and optimise constructive implication from concerned packages, alerting relevant managers if necessary.
  • Documentation & Reporting: To elaborate the specifications to be used by all contractors in order to transfer the final technical project documentation to Operations at project close-out; to manage, in collaboration with DCC Leader, the EDMS (PRODOM); to control and issuance of internal and external reporting of the Project, ensuring appropriate content and quality of information.
