Level 2 Help Desk Support

 

Location: Melbourne (Metro)

Duration: 3 Month Contract (Possibility of extension) 

 

Overview

Currently looking for a skilled Level 2 Support engineer to work for one of our clients based in Melbourne (Metro).

 

Job Description:

This role requires onsite attendance 5 days / week to resolve L1,2 incidents. The tasks that need to be undertaken include;

  • Troubleshooting
  • problem solving
  • configuring and testing
  • Maintaining desktop, printers, Citrix thin clients and peripherals.
  • Learning, maintaining and understanding client tailored business application (SQL experience desirable)

 

Key Duties,

  • L1, 2 desktop related incidents and requests onsite
  • Follow up and resolve helpdesk requests and technical issues
  • Good understand of, and previous experience working with Windows Active Directory and servers
  • Established understanding of networking for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Sound technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals i.e. laptops, notebooks, workstations PC's, servers, backup solutions and printers
  • Sound knowledge or experience of SQL as the role will include customer business application support
  • Excellent verbal communication in all different levels; client, peers
