We are seeking a Bosun to join a modern offshore MPSV / subsea support vessel. The role includes supervision of deck crew and coordination of deck operations during commissioning, sea trials and offshore activities. Experience on offshore vessels is required. OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Member certification is required, along with valid BOSIET/FOET.

Bosun – Offshore MPSV / Subsea Support Vessel
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Bosun to join our team onboard a modern offshore MPSV / subsea support vessel, supporting subsea operations, ROV activities and offshore project execution.
As a Bosun, you will be responsible for supervising deck crew and coordinating deck operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of lifting, cargo handling and offshore activities.
This is a rotation-based position with an expected sign-on date of 13 April 2026 (subject to confirmation). The initial phase will be in the Netherlands (commissioning and sea trials), followed by mobilisation to Nigeria in June.
Standard rotation:
• Europe phase: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off
• Nigeria phase: 8 weeks on / off
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck crew and daily deck operations
• Coordinate lifting, cargo and equipment handling
• Support subsea operations and offshore activities
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas
• Assist during commissioning, trials and operational phases
Requirements:
• Previous experience as Bosun on offshore vessels
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Valid STCW certification
• OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Member (required)
• BOSIET / FOET (OPITO approved)
• Valid medical certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
