We are seeking a Chief Cook / Campboss to join a modern offshore MPSV / subsea support vessel. The role includes meal preparation and management of galley operations during commissioning in the Netherlands, followed by offshore operations in Nigeria. Experience handling large crews (up to 180 POB during peak operations) is required. Valid BOSIET/FOET essential.



Chief Cook / Campboss – Offshore MPSV / Subsea Support Vessel
We are currently seeking a chief Cook / Campboss to join our team onboard a modern offshore MPSV / subsea support vessel, supporting subsea operations, ROV activities and offshore project execution.
As a Chief Cook / Campboss, you will be responsible for meal preparation and overall galley management, ensuring high standards of hygiene and crew welfare during commissioning and offshore operations.
This is a rotation-based position with an expected sign-on date of 13 April 2026 (subject to confirmation). The initial phase will be in the Netherlands (commissioning and sea trials), followed by mobilisation to Nigeria in June.
Standard rotation:
• Europe phase: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off
• Nigeria phase: 8 weeks on / off
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for crew onboard (up to 180 POB)
• Manage galley operations, stock and provisioning
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of galley areas
• Coordinate with hotel department and support crew welfare
Requirements:
• Previous offshore experience as Chief Cook / Campboss
• Experience handling large POB (up to 180 persons)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Valid STCW certification
• BOSIET / FOET (OPITO approved)
• Valid medical certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
