JK has a full time, casual Press Brake Operator role available with a local medium sized, steel work manufacturer.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Operating and running press brake to fold sheet metal parts
- Move parts/jobs to QA for shipping
- Interpret detailed drawings
- Request drawings and information when required to complete tasks
- Keep press area clean, keep tooling clean and wiped down regularly
- Perform general press maintenance
The below skills and qualifications would be well regarded:
- Forklift licence
- Metal working background
- Basic computer skills
- Press operation experience
- Work well under pressure
- Eye for quality and accuracy
- Competently use accurate measuring equipment
- Physically fit
