HR & Compliance Manager

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

Working Pattern: Full-time | Hybrid working available after probation

 

Ashley Kate are pleased to be supporting our client in the search for an experienced HR & Compliance Manager to join a growing organisation, this position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of HR operations and compliance activities, ensuring effective people management, strong governance, and audit-ready processes across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation
  • Oversee company compliance, accreditations, and audit documentation
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure records remain up to date
  • Monitor staff training, certifications, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate learning and development, apprenticeships, and training programmes
  • Work closely with senior leadership to improve systems, processes, and reporting

About You

  • HR generalist experience, ideally within a standalone role
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment law
  • Experience supporting audits, accreditations, or governance processes
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working independently and partnering with senior stakeholders
