Hamptons are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a not-for-profit care provider who is looking for an Assistant Service Manager in Chatham, Maidstone. We are now seeking a full-time Assistant Service Manager to join their team in Blackheath, managing this service together with a staff team of 15 Support Workers and a Service Manager.

We support two non-verbal individuals and one individual who requires 24 hour support due to being PEG feed. 

Full time 39-hour position; Salary £25,859.

About you!

  • Experience supporting individuals who have disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
  • Have a genuine desire to help, develop and maintain high quality service provision for the people we support in this service appropriate to their assessed needs.
  • Have 2 years’ experience of supervising a small to medium team.
  • Experienced with providing Person-Centred support and to be passionate about it.
  • Be able to manage own time.
  • NVQ Level 3, QCE level 5 or willing to obtain this.
  • Duties may include providing personal care and administration of medication.
  • To participate in the On-call rota and cover shifts is needed incl. sleep ins.
  • Working knowledge of CQC and other relevant regulations
