Remedy, a Division of Employbridge, is thrilled to partner with a specialty plastic component manufacturer located in the Northtowns area as they attempt to fill a Mechanical Design Drafter. They are looking for a candidate that can design and develop drawings for component parts, complete system layouts for production use, internal orders, fabrication purposes, new orders and quotations. Job Title: Mechanical Design Drafter
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Location: North Buffalo, NY
Hours: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday
Pay: $27-30/hour

Essential Duties for this Mechanical Design Drafter Include:
- Responsible for preparing drawings for projects for all departments
- Generate new complete and accurate working schematics for production
- Utilize Solid Works and AutoCAD for drawing filing system for all projects
- Maintain drawing number file in Navision for all systems which includes the update of pertinent information on the item / BOM cards.
We're looking for a Mechanical Design Drafter with the following background profile/skillset:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in related field
- 2-4 years + experience in a similar role
- Must have a thorough knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Must have experience with SOP’s in accordance with ISO 9001
