A great opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a high‑performing engineering team, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance while driving improvements across fast‑paced food production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimise downtime.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and site equipment.
- Support improvement projects and system upgrades.
- Identify ways to improve machinery reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with production teams to optimise performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with site‑wide facilities maintenance.
Essential Requirements
- Multi‑skilled engineer (electrical).
- FMCG food production experience.
- NVQ Level 3 or engineering apprenticeship.
- Strong electrical/mechanical fault‑finding skills.
- Experience with food machinery (baggers, weighers, conveyors, robots, etc).
- Understanding of line control systems (I/O, sensors, relays, 24V, VFDs, pneumatics).
- Strong health & safety focus and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- 18th Edition.
