Electrical Technicians (BBBH4472) Western Sydney, Australia
This leading engineering company are seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to join their Rail Maintenance Facility in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Testing and Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out the testing and troubleshooting of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical Systems on a major Rail Project in Sydney.
You will be required to use your previous Testing and Commissioning experience to assist others in troubleshooting faults. In addition, you may be required to participate in Train Trials and Testing over the weekends.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Must have previous experience reading schematics and fault finding.
- Testing and Commissioning experience in the Railway Maintenance Industry or a related industry such as Automotive, Military, Defence, Avionics or any other safety critical environment.
- Have an Electrical or Electronics Trade Qualification and/or a minimum 5 years similar
- A working knowledge of a quality control system
- Experience working on Train Electrical Systems is desirable
- RISI/RSW Accreditation (can aid in acquiring)
- Strong Communication Skills
- Have a Hands On approach
- Ability to work independently
