As the IT Technical Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and advancement of our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic vision and technical leadership for the IT Services team, ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with the College's goals and objectives.
  • IT Services Expertise: Demonstrate a substantial high level of technical knowledge, encompassing IT Services/Software such as MS Office 365, Azure, VMWare, Hyper-V, Veeam, MacOS, Mobile Device MDM, and Infrastructure Hardware including HP Procurve, Comware, Aruba, VSAN, Sophos, Xtreme, and MiTel.
  • Collaboration: Encourage effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support innovative IT solutions that enhance the teaching and learning experience.
  • Security: Implement robust security measures and compliance standards to safeguard the College's data and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior technical role with expertise in the specified technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT challenges.
  • Relevant certifications in key technologies are desirable.
