IT System Engineer

IT System Engineer (AW00047) Mansfield, England

Salary: GBP20000 - GBP25000 per annum

Job Role:

 

 

·        Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure manager, working on developing the architecture of all current business systems, offering solutions and ideas to progress them to the next level.

 

·        With the “Front To Back” being the main business tool, your main focus will be to work through outstanding issues and the continuing development of this tool, this will require very good knowledge of Excel formulas and VBA coding.

 

·        Working alongside a small team of developers to help unify all applications, with the end goal of creating a fully bespoke ERP system.

 

·        Working on development of the group Tracker system, this will need a good knowledge of C# programming skills.

 

·        Develop bespoke SQL reports for management.

 

 

 

3.  RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Working with Excel, Pegasus, SQL, CRM, and company application, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of development including analysis, design and deployment.

 

·        Develop new concepts, testing, deploying, training and supporting the multitude of applications used by the business.

 

·        Attend and complete training courses set for you, to further develop your knowledge and skills within the field.

 

·        Aid the IT team with infrastructure support, implementation and installations when called upon, including end user hardware/software issues relating to company applications.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

·        Min 3 years’ experience in development.

 

·        Excellent knowledge of relational databases such as SQL

 

·        Excellent Knowledge with MS Excel/VBA.

 

·        Good Knowledge with C# programming.
