Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced SharePoint Developer and Systems Analyst to provide their recognised professional knowledge, leadership, training, guidance and support to ensure that SharePoint is used as an effective information channel for our internal processes, in conjunction with other digital systems used by the college.
You will be responsible for advocating the use of SharePoint throughout the department, influencing managers and all other staff to ensure high levels of awareness and increase the uptake of SharePoint as one of the principal information channels.
You will work with all key stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive SharePoint solution tailored to the needs of the client. This includes, but not limited to, creating a SharePoint-based intranet, department SharePoint site and shared folder structures for various departments, and workflows to streamline operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the Client benefits from enhanced efficiency, improved data security, and robust information-sharing processes.
This will involve sharing best practice, investigating and implementing innovative solutions, designing and delivering training, advice and recommendations by leading presentations, group meetings and 1-2-1 consultations.
This role should be proactive in identifying and analysing internal processes that could be implemented in SharePoint and then working with the users of these processes to deliver fit-for-purpose SharePoint sites and tools. This may involve supporting the users so that they can do the implementation themselves, or it may involve prototyping/developing the appropriate SharePoint structures and workflows and presenting this to the users for their on-going management.
The role will be seen as the in-house SharePoint expert with comprehensive knowledge and authority to develop solutions which benefit the college, whilst looking holistically at digital systems across the operation.
This is a fixed-term position for 18-24 months.
The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
