I am on the lookout for a talented Knitwear Fashion Design Admin Assistant to join a innovative & dynamic Design team at their Leicester Head office, working with iconic brands like ASOS, Topshop, and Urban Outfitters. This is an ideal role for a graduate with a Knitwear design degree looking to start their career in fashion & retail.
What we are looking for:
•Experience in crafting design packs and managing samples with meticulous attention.
•Fluent in Illustrator to create high quality design packs
•Commercial awareness of current fashion trends, colours, and fabrics.
•A team player with strong communication skills, fostering a positive work environment.
•Initiative in supporting the design team, ensuring timely tasks and maintaining brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
•Support the design team with trend and product research.
•Craft high-quality technical design packs using Illustrator.
•Collaborate closely with suppliers and factories.
•Manage lab dips, swatch packs, and post sample shipments.
•Maintain a neat and presentable showroom.
•Liaise with suppliers during the sampling process.
•Update digital sample/design logs for the design and buying team.
•Stay commercially aware of current trends and themes.
•Demonstrate a strong commercial understanding of the customer.
•Support trend, colour, shape, graphic, and knit fabric direction.
