A premium international business law, Silver Circle firm is looking for a corporate lawyer with 4+ years PQE to join their team in London.

The firm’s corporate team is trusted to delivery some of the best deals in the market by some of the biggest UK and international companies and investors. The corporate team are Tier 1 ranked in the Legal 500 for upper mid-market deals and a recognised leader several sectors including financial services, retail and consumer, real estate, energy and infrastructure, healthcare and gaming and tech). The corporate team advises on all corporate needs including: Public company takeovers; Private company M&A (domestic and cross-border); Equity capital markets; Corporate governance, reporting and group reorganisations; and Private equity. The corporate team is split into two specialties, M&A and Private Equity, which sit together, share intelligence and participate in joint training.
As part of your role, you will be in either one team (M&A or Private Equity), however, lawyers are encouraged to get a balanced work experience across all the corporate areas mentioned above throughout their career, and to develop their own areas of interest within specific work types or sectors. Within the role you will be drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional; documents, managing and coordinating transactions from initial instruction through to closing, including multi-jurisdictional deals; working alongside your colleagues to further grow and develop the firm’s corporate business, including involvement in client and target teams, and other business development opportunities; as well as providing supervision and training to more junior fee earners.
To be successful in your application, you will:
- Be a UK qualified lawyer with 4+years PQE from a top firm.
- Have strong academics.
- Strong technical knowledge in relevant M&A/corporate finance.
- Be detail-focused and analytical, with sound judgement skills.
- Be ambitious and self-motivated.
- Have excellent client relationship skills and effective at communication.
- Be a collaborative team player who fit in with a collegiate and hard-working team.
