UX Designer – Barcelona – Freelance Contract

For one of our top clients in Barcelona we are looking for a UX Designer. 

Position Overview

• Position Title: UX Designer 
• Duration: 6 months + possible extension
• Number of Positions: 1
• Start Date: 01/07/2026
• Work Model: Hybrid – Barcelona (2 days onsite)

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality, conversion-focused web experiences
• Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
• Create user flows, wireframes, and UI ready for development
• Ensure visual consistency (layout, typography, brand, design system)
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams
• Iterate designs based on feedback and data insights

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design with a strong portfolio
• Strong expertise in UX, UI, web design, and user research
• Experience with usability testing, prototyping, and accessibility
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have Skills

• Advanced prototyping capabilities
• Strong visual design skills (layout, typography, brand consistency)
• Experience with accessibility standards
• Familiarity with front-end workflows
• Experience working in cross-functional and/or distributed teams
• Proactive mindset, curiosity, and strong problem-solving attitude

Interview Process

• Number of Interviews: 2 (could be reduced to 1)
