Gi Group are looking for Class 2 drivers in Coleshill. This position offers consistent work, 12-months per year for the right candidate.

Class 2 Driver – Pay Rate:

·      £16.53 per hour including holiday pay in advance (PAYE)

·      Minimum 10 hours guaranteed per shift

Class 2 Driver – Shift Information:

·      Monday to Friday – no weekends or Bank Holidays!

·      05:00-07:00 starts

Location: Coleshill (B46)

·      This role is commutable from: Marston Green, Solihull, Castle Bromwich, Erdington, Stechford, Tyseley, Coventry, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Polesworth, and the other surrounding areas.

Class 2 Driver – Job Information:

·      Ongoing/temp-to-perm work for the right candidate.

·      3 - 10 drops per day – loads are palletised and will be unloaded by FLT or pump truck. 

·      Use of PDA Machine is required. Previous experience using one is preferred; however training can be provided if needed.

·      Handball maybe required from time to time, using a pump truck

·      National & Local deliveries are expected.

·      The Class 2 driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

Class 2 Driver - Requirements and Skills:

·      Full UK driving licence with a minimum of 1-year Class 2 driving experience

·      Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho

·      Previous multi drop experience is preferred

·      The ideal candidate must be well presented and good customer service essential

·      Willingness to load and unload using pallet truck

·      No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/CU/MS/IN & TT offences are not accepted)
