Gi Group are looking for experienced Water Technicians for a temporary to permanent role in Birmingham and the surrounding area. As a water technician, you’d be working with a well-known national brand delivering water dispenser products to customers.

Water Technician – Pay Rate: 

• £14.57 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay.

Water Technician – Shifts:

• Monday to Friday

• 07:00-16:00 shifts

• No weekends or nights 

Water Technician – Job Details: 

• This role is a Water Technician position, with a greater focus on sanitisation activities rather than water delivery. Training will be provided on key aspects of the sanitisation prior to the worker going out on their own. 

• As part of this role, the water technician will be required to report into Coalville depot 1-2 days per week to collect parts and provide general updates to the depot. 

• This role involves water dispenser and product delivery, as well as servicing customers according to a delivery schedule. 

• As part of this role, the Water Technician must be able to carry out strenuous work such as bending and lifting products up to 25kg. 

• This role contains responsibilities for the maintenance, product deliveries and installation of water dispenser products. 

• This role requires exceptional customer service, customer satisfaction and proactive customer engagement skills. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for customer service. 

• You will be expected to complete cooler installation and sanitisation responsibilities meeting compliance standards with regards to health and safety regulations. 

• Uniform is provided as part of this role and it is expected that the Water Technician has a high standard of general appearance, cleanliness and wears safety shoes whilst on the job. 

Water Technician – Job Requirements:

• The right candidate will hold an in date, UK, driving licence with at least 2 years’ van driving experience

• The right candidate will have no more than 6 points on licence (SP codes only please)

• The right candidate will have good geographical knowledge of the Birmingham area. 

• The right candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

• The right candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills.

• The right candidate will be able to identify sales opportunities and will provide feedback to the sales team on potential growth opportunities. 

• The right candidate will be reliable, professional, and punctual in their approach

• The right candidate will have a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile

• The right candidate will have the ability to work independently and manage your route effectively
