ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into a senior finance leader, this Senior Finance Analyst role sits within an established Analytics & Reporting team and plays a key role in supporting strategic planning and commercial decision-making.

This is a hands-on, insight-driven role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, analysing performance drivers, and translating data into actionable outcomes that support growth and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with operational and commercial stakeholders

  • Analyse performance drivers, identifying risks and opportunities impacting financial outcomes

  • Build, maintain and enhance recurring and ad-hoc management reports

  • Partner closely with senior leadership, commercial managers and operational teams to provide financial insights

  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, processes and automation

  • Support strategic initiatives through ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree qualified in Commerce, Business, Finance or similar

  • CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) highly regarded

  • Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools advantageous

  • SQL experience highly desirable

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills

  • Comfortable working in an ad-hoc, fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Collaborative approach with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
