Salary: AUD130000 - AUD140000 per annum + super + WFH Flex

We are urgently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to step into an initial 6-month contract supporting a large Digital division. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage complex stakeholders, and start immediately (or within a very short notice period).

This role sits within the Digital division, supporting BAU and major project activity across an approx. $200M portfolio.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Business Performance Manager for Corporate, this Finance Business Partner role supports Digital operations and projects. With two team members recently departing, the division needs a capable and confident analyst who can step in immediately and take ownership of reporting, insights, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement.

DUTIES

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting for Digital BAU & projects

  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to 5 GMs

  • Manage and monitor a $200M Digital budget

  • Deliver variance analysis and financial modelling

  • Support Digital project financials, business case reviews, and benefits analysis

  • Ensure compliance, controls, and governance across the portfolio

  • Identify and drive process improvements

  • Work closely with PMs, finance teams, and senior leadership

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • CA/CPA qualified (mandatory)

  • Strong experience in FBP, FP&A, or commercial finance roles

  • Experience in tech, digital, energy, utilities, or large complex organisations highly regarded

  • SAP proficiency is essential

  • Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder influencing abilities

  • Able to operate autonomously and pick things up quickly

  • Immediate start or very short notice period only
