ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into the finance team, this Trust Accountant role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day trust accounting function across a large real estate portfolio.

The role will involve daily receipting, reconciliations, landlord payment runs, creditor payments, security deposit management, budget uploads and lease updates. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders and support accurate, timely and compliant processing across the portfolio.

 

DUTIES

• Daily receipting and bank file uploads

• Daily trust account reconciliations

• Prepare landlord previews and landlord payment runs

• Manage creditor payment runs

• Upload new property and tenancy files

• Manage security deposits, including IBD accounts

• Upload and reconcile budgets

• Update lease renewal terms in the system

• Liaise with Asset Managers and internal stakeholders

• Support invoice workflow and contractor uploads

• Ensure trust accounting processes are accurate, compliant and completed on time

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in real estate or property trust accounting

• Commercial property experience highly regarded

• Strong understanding of receipting, reconciliations, creditor payments and landlord payments

• Experience with Goat highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work

• Confident liaising with internal stakeholders

• CA/CPA qualification is not required
