ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will play a key part in the day-to-day financial accounting function, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of monthly and annual results.
You’ll take ownership of cash flow reporting, bank reconciliations, maintaining G/L integrity, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. You will also contribute to finance system improvements and continuous process optimisation across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and variance commentary

Manage and maintain daily cash flow models and bank reconciliations

Maintain G/L integrity and review AP batches before posting

Support budgeting and forecasting cycles

Maintain the fixed asset register and chart of accounts
-
Support finance automation and process improvement projects
-
Administer corporate credit cards and eTags
-
Provide backup support for AR when required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA in progress preferred)

3+ years’ experience in industry or 2+ years in public practice

Previous retail sector experience advantageous

Strong Excel and financial systems skills (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience ideal)

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
