ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the GM FP&A, this Finance Business Partner role is a key position within a newly built FP&A function. You will partner closely with senior leaders across multiple business units, providing commercial insights, driving performance, and embedding finance into operational decision-making.
This is not a traditional, process-driven role — success in this position comes from your ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and become a trusted advisor to General Managers.
You will play a critical role in shaping financial planning, improving business performance, and driving the ongoing evolution of finance within the organisation.
DUTIES
- Partner with business leaders to drive strategic planning and performance outcomes
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
- Deliver commercial insights, scenario modelling, and financial analysis
- Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
- Support investment decisions through business case development and analysis
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting
- Contribute to transformation initiatives including new systems and planning tools
- Analyse key drivers of performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or FP&A role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling capability
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
- Proven ability to influence and engage non-financial stakeholders
- Comfortable working in an evolving, ambiguous environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in transformation environments or project work highly regarded
- Background in Big 4, mid-tier, or commercial finance roles
