ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to a senior finance leader, this Senior Financial Accountant role sits within the group finance function and plays a key role in ASX reporting, statutory compliance and global consolidation.
This is a technically strong role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a listed environment, partnering with offshore teams, and ensuring accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting across a complex group structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support month-end close for the consolidated group, including intercompany eliminations and unrealised profit adjustments

Prepare and review management accounts and board-level reporting

Prepare cash flow statements (direct and indirect methods)

Lead balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations and variance analysis

Support half-year and full-year ASX reporting, including Appendix 4D and 4E

Assist with Annual Report preparation, including financial statement notes and disclosures

Partner with global finance teams in Dubai and Spain, ensuring consistency with group accounting policies

Draft technical accounting papers relating to Australian Accounting Standards

Act as a key contact for external auditors, managing audit deliverables and queries

Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls and automation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
CA or CPA qualified
-
Proven experience in an ASX-listed environment

Big 4 audit or advisory experience, or Big 4–trained movers into ASX-listed industry roles, are highly regarded

Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting background

Experience with group consolidations and global operations

Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or automation tools advantageous

Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work across time zones
