ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to a senior finance leader, this Senior Financial Accountant role sits within the group finance function and plays a key role in ASX reporting, statutory compliance and global consolidation.

This is a technically strong role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a listed environment, partnering with offshore teams, and ensuring accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting across a complex group structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support month-end close for the consolidated group, including intercompany eliminations and unrealised profit adjustments

• Prepare and review management accounts and board-level reporting

• Prepare cash flow statements (direct and indirect methods)

• Lead balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations and variance analysis

• Support half-year and full-year ASX reporting, including Appendix 4D and 4E

• Assist with Annual Report preparation, including financial statement notes and disclosures

• Partner with global finance teams in Dubai and Spain, ensuring consistency with group accounting policies

• Draft technical accounting papers relating to Australian Accounting Standards

• Act as a key contact for external auditors, managing audit deliverables and queries

• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls and automation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• CA or CPA qualified

• Proven experience in an ASX-listed environment

• Big 4 audit or advisory experience, or Big 4–trained movers into ASX-listed industry roles, are highly regarded

• Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting background

• Experience with group consolidations and global operations

• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or automation tools advantageous

• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work across time zones
