BUILDING MANAGEMENT SERVICES ENGINEER (FIELD BASED), £35000 - £38000, 28 DAYS LEAVE, 40 HOUR WEEK

Our client is looking to recruit a BMS Engineer who will be field based.  This role is due to growth within the company. 

Job Title:              BMS Engineer

Salary:                   £35000 - £38000

Based:                   Leicester

Type:                     Permanent

Hours:                   Monday – Fridays   08h00 – 17h00

As a BMS engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Cover maintenance, installation and service calls across the UK
• Inspect and audit building services engineering systems to ensure the services are operating efficiently
• Match clients’ needs and budgets to relevant technology controls
• Able to write software for these controls to maximise comfort and energy
• Advise on plant repairs and replacements programmes
• Review statutory examination reports and ensure clients are compliant
• Respond to ad-hoc enquiries and provide advice

As a BMS engineer you would need:

• Relevant qualifications relating to Building Management Services
• Experience and technical understanding of HVAC, energy, heat, ventilation, LED conversions, alarms and or circuit boards
• Mechanical qualification or Electrical qualification
• Proven experience of Trend, Distech, Delta and or Synaps
• Good problem solving skills and report writing skills
• The ability to travel for a week at a time
