My client is a world leading Healthcare provider in design, manufacturing and marketing of medical device products globally. They are looking for several experienced Product Development / Design Engineers to join their organisation in Auckland, New Zealand.

Sponsorship and also relocation assistance will be provided to those currently living outside of NZ.

This an exciting opportunity that will allow you to form a pivotal function of a global award winning company and their engineering team with your core focus to develop and release new products to the global market.

You must have experience/skills/aptitude in the following:

· Be a qualified Mechanical or Design Engineer

· At least 3-5 years’ experience in the area of new product development and design

· Have a proven track record of following products from conception to completion

· Practical model shop experience and experience with plastics is highly desirable

· Knowledgeable working with CAD

· Be inventive, practical and results focus

· Experience in Medical Device industry is highly desirable

· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

· Mechanical engineering aptitude

· Report writing
