A new role for a SAP Practice Master Data Officer. Master data is critical in daily operations and ensures our clients users can proceed with their work. The Master Data Specialist role is the key driver in ensuring the accuracy of this data.
Quality is everything! It’s imperative that data is accurate and up to date to enable our sales and service teams to know and assist our customers. Create and update master data information within the SAP and SUN systems
Key accountabilities:
- Create vendor and customer records in the SAP and SUN systems ensuring that data entered is accurate and complete.
- Where records need updating, process those updates and, if necessary, contact suppliers to clarify details.
- Ensure that all requests for master data changes are addressed in a timely fashion
- Respond to any queries in respect of master data information in an effective and timely manner
- Ensure that all supporting documentation is retained for audit purposes.
- Implement mass changes to master data as required.
- Assist other team members in their day to day duties as required.
- Perform other tasks as directed by Financial Systems Senior Master Data Officer
Essential requirements: - Excellent attention to detail resulting in input data accuracy.
- Ability to self-manage ensuring that all work is completed within agreed timeframes
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong focus on customer needs
