Scrum Master SAP – SAFe, SAP PP, QM, and SAP PI Sheets
Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Scrum Master SAP.
This position is for a strong scrum master with a solid background in enabling Agile teams. As scrum
master, you will be leading agile teams that are in transition toward a product-centric, scaled agile
framework. You have a strong enough foundation in Agile and SAFe methodologies to guide a transitional
the team as well as provide project management where needed as we close skill gaps and phase out
unneeded processes.
The position is part of the “ASPIRE - DIA Center of Enablement” department and your first assignment will
be supporting the SAP Hub portfolio.
The perfect candidate: We are looking for two candidates, one who is a Scrum Master SAP Hub who will
work with an existing team and really focus on SAP and a Scrum Master SAFe who is more focused on a
new, fast-paced, and growing project in manufacturing.
Areas of responsibility:
• Works closely with the Product team (Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, Product Owner(s),
developers, Business Analysts, technical resources, and other stakeholders)
• Manage and optimize the flow of product value using various tools, such as the Program and Solution
Kanbans, boards, trackers
• Organize, manage and facilitate the Scrum process and ceremonies; daily stand-ups, demos,
retrospectives, grooming, planning meetings, etc.
• Help the Product Owner/ Product Manager keep the product backlog in good shape and groomed/ready
for sprint planning
• Act as a subject matter expert and coach to the team in Agile methodology, tool usage, decision making
the process following the proper guidelines
• Resolves team impediments with the other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the product centric
the delivery approach in the organization
• Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities and assist with economic decision-making by
facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary
• Coach leaders, teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets, help manage risks and dependencies,
escalate and track impediments and provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
• Encourage collaboration between teams and Solution Architects/Engineering
• Work with the Release Train Engineer on program execution and operational excellence
• Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and
Solution Train and help them improve
• Foster use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices
• Identify gaps in process and skills and help bridge the transition of the organization to scaled agile,
product-centric delivery
Professional and technical requirements:
• Professional SCRUM Master Certification or SAFe Scrum Master experience and certification
• Min. 7+ years’ experience in global project management as a Project Manager
• Min. 5 years experience in leading agile teams as a Scrum Master (on a global level) preferred in the
diagnostics industry
• Min. 5 years experience working in SAP PP, QM, and SAP PI Sheets
• Ability to assess technology architecture and propose alternative technologies
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
• Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity
• Exhibits servant leadership style towards the product manager, scrum master, development team and
the wider organization
• Strong skills in leading teams, problem-solving, influencing, teamwork, initiative and communication.
• Demonstrated skills in innovation and creative approaches in building new business process solutions.
• Experience with managing senior stakeholders and strong communication skills
• Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast
integration into bigger teams
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organisation and an
understanding of facilitation techniques
Nice to Haves:
• Working experience in SAFe environments as a plus
• Roche experience
• Experience with GxP relevant systems
• Experience with deployment of cloud and SaaS solutions
• Knowledge of Diagnostics business
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana (for Value Stream position)
