We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a lathe, a strong understanding of technical specifications, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Shift: four 10-hour days, with a 7 AM start (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday).

What you will be doing:

• Run CNC dual spindle lathe and vertical/horizontal mill to produce prototype and small production jobs.
• Experience on DMG Mori machines is a plus but not required.
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
• Setup cutting tools per instructions.
• Setup and teardown precision machining fixturing.
• Operate 2 or more machines simultaneously.
• Assist in training other machinists in equipment operation when necessary.

• Experience operating CNC machining centers.
• Ability to solve complex problems while making challenging parts.
• Proficient in the usage and care of precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to work with tight tolerances.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings.

Other requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with CNC lathes.
• CNC Mill experience is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot without instruction.
• Able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane.
