The Role

As an Injection Moulding Setter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards. From carrying out mould changes and machine set-ups to optimising processes and troubleshooting issues, you'll be instrumental in keeping production moving and driving continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and preparing production changeovers to minimise downtime.
• Carrying out safe mould changes and machine set-ups.
• Setting and optimising machines to achieve target cycle times and maximum productivity.
• Producing quality First Off samples before production begins.
• Monitoring machine performance and responding quickly to any quality or process issues.
• Completing production documentation accurately and updating performance systems.
• Maintaining clean, organised and safe working areas.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives including SMED, TPM, automation and process optimisation.
• Completing weekly Injection Moulding Machine (IMM) fitness checks.
• Leading by example and promoting a positive, safety-first culture.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in producing high-quality work and thrives in a team-focused manufacturing environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter (essential).
• Formal Injection Moulding Setting qualification.
• Formal Injection Moulding Processing qualification.
• Experience with cranes, lifting & slinging and powered pallet trucks (PPT).
• IMT qualification (desirable).
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• The ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing production priorities.
