Warehouse Operative – Automotive Parts

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly respected automotive recycling and vehicle parts operation based in Thame, Oxfordshire. This role offers the chance to work within a fast-paced environment supporting the preparation, storage, and distribution of vehicle parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and inspecting vehicle parts to ensure they meet quality standards before sale.
• Conducting quality control checks on parts and components.
• Locating, picking, and preparing parts for dispatch.
• Assisting with stock management and warehouse organisation.
• Supporting general warehouse and operational duties as required.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience or a good working knowledge of motor vehicles would be advantageous.
• A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is desirable.
• Reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Position Details

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:45pm

Salary:

• Starting salary: £26,000 per annum
• Eligibility for a discretionary monthly bonus upon successful completion of probation
