Trainee CNC Setter / Operator

This position provides structured, on-the-job training for someone who is motivated to learn the skills required to become a CNC Setter/Operator, with long-term progression opportunities within the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Learning to set and operate CNC machine tools under supervision

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Inspecting and checking components throughout the production process

• Recording machine set-up information and programme details

• Working collaboratively to meet production requirements

• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Keeping structured training records to support ongoing development

Training & Development

The successful candidate will receive structured, hands-on training within a production environment. Additional external training may be provided as skills progress.

This role offers a clear pathway into skilled engineering positions for the right individual.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

• Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm

• Full-time, 39 hours per week

Pay

£12.50 – £13.50 per hour
