Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Location: Warrington WA4
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts

• 6:00am – 2:00pm- £14.14
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm- £15.15

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our clients busy warehouse team. This role involves loading, unloading, storing and processing products safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, housekeeping and health & safety.

The successful candidate must hold valid FLT licences for:

• Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Reach Truck
• Multi-Directional Forklift (Combilift or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, load and process products safely within the warehouse.
• Allocate and store stock efficiently to maximise warehouse space.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within required timescales.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Carry out stock and inventory checks as required.
• Perform daily pre-use forklift inspections and report any defects.
• Report any damage to products, racking, equipment or warehouse areas.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and site SOPs.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse operation.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance, Reach and Multi-Directional FLT licences (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience operating FLT equipment in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
