Fawkes & Reece are proud to be partnered with a leading fit out / refurbishment contractor and build seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team in Barnsley.

The role of an Estimator

As Estimator you would play a key part of the thriving pre-construction team, responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for fit out and refurbishment projects, typically ranging up to £10m. Providing a unique in-house approach delivering value and expertise in maximising offices into residential spaces with consistently high quality project delivery. 

Responsibilities of an Estimator

• Produce detailed quotations, raise purchase orders, manage project budgets and approve supplier invoices.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for refurbishment projects.
• Develop comprehensive and accurate estimations & presentations.
• Source new products and suppliers as needed.
• Contribute to building systems that streamline processes.

Requirements for an Estimator 

• Minimum 5 years estimating experience.
• Experience working on fit out / refurbishment projects with values up to £3m+. (Preferably Drylining & partitions)      • Valid UK driving license.
• Relevant construction related degree or qualification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
