Professional Learning Specialist

OVERVIEW: We are hiring a Professional Learning Specialist to strengthen and develop substitute teacher and paraprofessional performance by delivering impactful training and feedback aligned with company standards.
SCHEDULE:
- Working Hours: Part-time Monday-Friday – work hours vary based on class training schedule
- Work Location: On-site within Hendry County School District
- Location: Travel to assigned district may be required and is covered by mileage reimbursement.
STIPEND:
- $225 (based upon extensive teaching/administrative experience) per five-hour training session plus travel mileage reimbursement at the company rate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with school and district leadership to identify professional development needs, implement coaching strategies, and recommend areas for instructional improvement.
- Communicate and model research‑based instructional practices, providing individualized, classroom‑embedded coaching to training participants.
- Support the implementation of district initiatives, including professional development curriculum frameworks and instructional programs for school district staff.
- Facilitate learning experiences that promote individualized adult learning principles, adaptability, and continuous professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 8 years master teaching or school leadership experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
